Introducing Bolt and Mittens

Although “Bolt” had a relatively poor box office performance, the computer-animated movie set Disney studio in a new creative direction. Bolt tells the story of a white dog who along with his master – Penny – became leading actors of a famous television series. In the series Bolt is a super dog whose mission is to protect Penny from any villain. The action-packed series attracted fans worldwide, giving Bolt a taste of stardom. What he didn’t know though is that all his superpowers are nothing but cinematic effects!

In Bolt games and all across the Disney world you will recognize the super dog by the lightning mark engraved in his fur. Bolt is a loyal, bold and fearless dog, whom many kids would like to have at the end of the leash. A bit too daring due to Bolt’s thinking that he has superpowers, he learns to accept that he is just a dog.

But being a regular dog might be tough enough. Bolt develops a bond with Penny who would guide him through his eccentric lifestyle. On the crazy journey across the United States, Bolt, Penny and their furry friends face Dr. Calico’s riders.

Who said a cat and a dog couldn’t be friends? Mittens is a stray black cat with a gray belly and a desire to bully all the pigeons out of food. It was Mittens that suggests “the antidote” to the peculiar growling Bolt had heard in his stomach. The food has to be begged, and this is when a cat’s cunningness really comes into play. Bolt learns to make a cute begging face which no one could resist. Mittens thus is being manipulative with Bolt, unconsciously making herself a new friend.
